Itinerary By Day
- 08:00 AM, our driver and English speakinng tour guide-driver will welcome and pick you up at your hotel in Can Tho City.
- Around 10 AM, arrive in Cai Be, start the Mekong boat trip from there. Discover a local village and visit a local workshop, there are things to see such as rice paper making and coconut candy-making process – very kid-friendly. Enjoying free samples of local specialties and discovering daily activities of local people.
- The boat continues to an island where Vietnamese traditional music (Đàn Ca Tài Tử - A folk art form from Southern Vietnam accredited by UNESCO in 2013 as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity) can be heard, enjoying honey tea and seasonal tropical fruit can be tasted (included).
- Experience a hand-rowing sampan (small boat) weaving through the small, beautiful evergreen canals of a Mekong island.
- Around 1 PM, home-cooked lunch is served and included in the garden (set Menu included elephant ear fish)
- After lunch, taking a boat ride along the Mekong river to Vinh Long and stopping for a short visit at the traditional brick kiln and pottery. (without rain)
- Disembark in Vinh Long city (near An Binh ferry station) where the car will be waiting for you and transfer you back to Can Tho City. Arrive in Can Tho City around 3 PM
Depending on your selected option, the boat trip will either start in Cai Be and end in Vinh Long, or vice versa. The itinerary and experiences remain the same. Free drop off in Cai Be-boat-station/Vinh Long-An-BInh-ferry-station around 2 PM.
